Parallel blocks
These parallel blocks lie at the bottom beside the main monument, and come into view after passing the Arch gate; they are about one meter thick, 7 meters long, and are almost alike. They are a cause for wonder, because on the one hand they look more familiar to us with their regular features. But on the other hand, they are located at the bottom of the monument with no apparent purpose at all, and their orientation, sloping upward instead of being horizontal or vertical, looks very unfamiliar with our minds used to functional thinking.
